By exploring a virtual library of 1 million candidate molecules, the team identified new materials capable of boosting solar cell efficiencies to over 26%. Achieving this with only around 150 experiments – not the so-yesterday thousands – is a testament to the power of AI-driven, closed-loop design strategies.
